Gene Pershwitz, MD

Dr. Gene Pershwitz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), specializing in comprehensive, patient-centered weight management.  He earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Pershwitz also pursued advanced training in Preventive Cardiology at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut.  He has over a decade of experience practicing medicine.

With a strong background in preventive care and chronic disease management, Dr. Pershwitz is committed to helping patients live healthier, more fulfilling lives. His approach to obesity medicine combines clinical expertise with behavioral strategies, personalized nutritional guidance, and individualized care plans designed to meet each patient’s unique health goals. He is passionate about empowering patients with the support they need to take control of their health.
